Electronic Toll Collection System (Called ETC for short) directs the important development of highway toll system. It can ease bottleneck of the toll collection in the greatest degree, and avoid traffic jam and vehicle delay caused by inefficient toll collection, so as to make the vehicle pass the highway rapidly and conveniently.The system uses Automatic Vehicle Identification (Called AVI for short) technology to realize automatic vehicle identification, automatic segmentation, automatic transaction, and achieve the purpose which makes the vehicle pass the toll lane rapidly and unattended. It can use the existing traffic and road resources to ease congestion and improve the efficiency of toll collection system. As it relates to toll collection, the accuracy of lane transaction data and the security and reliability of the system is very important. Considering Liaoning Provincial expressway current and future development demand, in this design it clarifies the total design project of Taoxian airport expressway electronic toll collection system including Shenyang and Taoxian toll station, which is based on in-depth study of the5.8GHz dedicated short range communication technology, car license plate identification technology and radio frequency technology and other related technology. As for hardware, this design included electronic toll collection center of Liaoning Province, ETC toll lane equipment, power systems and lightning protection and grounding systems, and it improved through the actual test to make the system stable and reliable. As for software, it completed the basic How lane of ETC, RSU transaction process, ETC lane equipment transactions, card information check and other process design, and it also improved the software features in the actual debugging and optimization, and ultimately realized the ETC function in Shenyang and Taoxian station.Through the actual running and testing of the ETC system it achieved the design requirements, and played a good role in driving the development of Liaoning Provincial Expressway ETC systems. |
