With the global ecological environment getting worse and the promotion ofpeople’s awareness of the ecological,,residential environmental performanceevaluation project has becomes to be the inevitable trend of sustainabledevelopment.This paper analyzes the environmental impact of the residential buildingin its whole life cycle process,including development,construction,operation,dismantling and recycling,and then we take residential construction in differentclimate zone as a reference, so as to calculate reference value of such evaluation indexsystem from the angle of carbon and water footprint verification.Meanwhile,on thebasis of the scientific research of domestic and international green building evaluationindex system and current situation of technology of industry and residential greendevelopment practice,we build green residential DfE evaluation index framework ofChina;this paper constructs evaluation index system and the hierarchical model ofgreen ecological residential environment performance on the basis of sustainabledevelopment theory, system theory and the theory of life cycle assessment;AndThen,using MATLAB computer-aided evaluation tool and the method of AHPcomplex decision-making way,we determine the index weight of such evaluationindex system;Taking building industry standards and regulations as a reference, wedetermine the evaluation benchmark and establish a residential DfE evaluation indexsystem; finally, this paper selects a residential building in North Jiangsu to verify theoperability and convenience of the index system.This paper makes a system analysis and practice exploration of theenvironmental performance evaluation of the construction,also it discusses andconstruct its evaluation method and supporting system.This study can not only beused for theoretical study of ecological residential’s green degree evaluation, but alsocan be used for real estate developers to evaluate their ecological residential projects.The innovation of this paper lies in:1) From the angle of carbon and waterfootprint verification,we use life cycle assessment method to analyze the greatestenvironmental impact type and the biggest stage of environmental effects of theresidential in its whole life-cycle process;2) This index system puts many specificmeasures into an index, and gives its reference values and evaluation method,so as tosimplifies the index system and evaluation;3) The set of index system has a strong forward-looking reference for enterprises, and it can be used to provideguidance in the project design and planning stage.
