With the city gas widely used in industrial and civil fields, it not only brings the convenience to the city resident life but also brings the potential safety risks for various reasons. Because of the increase of pipeline buried time and pipe corrosion, damage, disclosure, and man-made causes, frequently occurred events of fire explosion and (?)soning brought huge economic losses and security threats to the country and the people. Pipeline accidents frequently occurred in recent years, the safety issues of gas pipeline have become major issues of social and public safety. Therefore, pipeline real-time detection, risk assessment and the timely and effective handling of unexpected gas pipeline incidents plays an important role to raise the level of city life.Disposal methods of many current unexpected incidents still rely on the past experience and the contingency plans, and there are issues of slow reaction and incomplete knowledge. Therefore, To research the intelligent technology of city gas accident disposal and exploit the intelligent risk management systems of city gas pipe network is of great practical significance for improving the efficiency of the emergency work of the city gas pipe network.This thesis puts Handan City gas pipe network as the study object, use the unascertained measure model theory to analyze the frequently occurred major accident hazards source of gas pipe network, establish a risk evaluation index system, proceed risk evaluation and draw an evaluation conclusion. Finally, this thesis together with the Geographic Information System (GIS), object-oriented programming techniques, database technology and mathematical model developed the intelligent risk management systems of city gas pipeline network.The system will obtained gas pipeline risk assessment level by making analysis an d evaluation of the major hazard according to characteristics of city gas pipeline networ ks.the system will take the appropriate maintenance measures to stop the accident befor e it happens according to the risk level. Based on the potential factor in the accident, the system will automatically generates the appropriate contingency plans to take timely an d effective measures to prevent and reduce risk to ensure the safe operation. By this way, we can fulfill the purpose of intelligent risk management and improve capabilities of sol ving unexpected accident in the city gas network.
