The Research Of Changsha West Lake Cultural Park Planning And Design Based On The Low-carbon Concept

In today’s global warming, ecological crisis intensified, low carbon developent has become a major strategic tool to cope with climate security issues of global global society. The development of "low-carbon" concept gradually has been recognized and accepted at the same time.The practical activities are also on offer in full swing. However, due to the different level of urbanization and economic development, the theoretical study of the low-carbon development and construction practices also exist degrees difference. Under the guidance of the concept of low-carbon economy, both at home and abroad have started low carbon communities, low-carbon city, low-carbon construction aspects. The city park is an important component of the city and plays an important role in building a low-carbon city efficiently.Starting from the perspective of the low-carbon development, with the object of city park, firstly, the paper summarizes many mature low-carbon cities in the domestic and abroad and then put forward research results of low-carbon communities, the concept of low-carbon city parks, including related domestic and foreign research, then explores the functional area of the city park, and how the low-carbon concept embodied in the process of building in the city park, the construction of low-carbon city park considering the social, economic and ecological factors, and finally explores the Park of West Lake cultural Park as an example of low-carbon concept in the specific planning and construction, mainly from location selection, aspects of the road traffic organization, landscape architecture design, water purification systems, plants with low carbon concept.This paper analyzes the direction and the way which our city parks should choose, tries to explore the city park planning and design in China’s basic national conditions, provides not only the construction of low-carbon city park planning and construction mode reference, but also the innovative construction ideas and methods of modern city park.
