The global population and economic growth in the context of the development of the times has brought with it the disadvantages of melting glaciers, the greenhouse effect, the destruction of the water environment and the reduction of biodiversity, while the use of environmentally destructive fuels such as fossil energy has led to increasingly serious climate problems. The carbon neutrality target is proposed to address the climate issues facing our cities. As a large parkland in the core of the city, urban central parks assume important carbon sink functions and are potential spaces for low-carbon carriers, and low-carbon landscape construction is gradually becoming a trend in the development of central parks. This paper takes this opportunity to study central parks from a low-carbon perspective,in order to enhance the carbon sink capacity of blue-green spaces and provide reference for the high-quality development of parks. With the general idea of "theoretical summary-status quo research-strategy research-design practice",this paper explores the methods and approaches of integrating low-carbon concepts into the planning and design of central parks, using low-carbon concepts as a guide.Firstly, the background, purpose and significance of this paper are reviewed to determine the necessity of using a low-carbon perspective as an entry point for park design;the relevant conceptual theories and design strategies of excellent cases at home and abroad are analyzed and summarized to demonstrate the feasibility of the construction of Pan River Central Park from a low-carbon perspective;furthermore, the main existing problems of urban park construction from a low-carbon perspective are analyzed to provide a theoretical basis for further research.Theoretical basis for further research.Secondly, through the site background combing, site inspection and filming, and the summary of the current situation research, the resources that can be retained and utilized in the site are sorted out and comprehensively evaluated;the design principles of the site are clarified, and on this basis, the design strategy of Pan River Central Park from a low-carbon perspective is proposed, and the seven aspects of general layout, plant planning, green architecture, road paving, water circulation, service facilities and management and operation are discussed one by one, providing guidance for the later design practice. The design strategy of Panhe Central Park from a low-carbon perspective is discussed in seven aspects: general layout, plant planning, green architecture, road paving, water circulation, service facilities and management and operation, which will provide guidance for later design practice. Finally, taking the Pan River Central Park in Taian as the object of practical research, the mountain form of Mount Tai and the water form of the Pan River are combined to form the formal language of the site with winding and flowing lines throughout the park,so as to achieve carbon neutrality in two aspects: carbon reduction and carbon enhancement. The design aims to integrate low-carbon elements with the spatial field, and the site is planned to have a general layout structure of "one belt, one ring, two axes and multiple points" and eight functional zones. The main focus of the park is on the recycling of waste resources, the application of low carbon materials and the use of clean energy.Ultimately,Pan River Central Park will be a new type of urban green space with a focus on increasing sinks and reducing carbon, achieving internal and external linkages to restore the ecological base of the city, meeting the participation and experience of people in a low-carbon environment combined with intelligent facilities to enhance the vitality of the park, driving the development of the surrounding area and achieving functional diversification, while providing a reference for the construction of parks from a low-carbon perspective.
