The Research On The Plant Landscape Of Changsha University Campus

Campus green is an important part of the urban green space system, and has a direct impact on the daily life of the teachers and students from the green coverage rate, the rationality of the plant disposition and the level of quality these aspects. We always study the college plant landscape from the macro perpective, then garden landscape workers or construction team began the construction without enough theoretical, systematization and standardization guidance in the past, even specific research for the colleges in Changsha also was poor.This paper theoretically analyses the plant landscape design of colleges and universities in Changsha and conducts case studies on the basis of previous research results and field research. Combining the climate feature in south-central China, it studies the plant landscape design of the Yuntang campus of the Changsha University of Science&Technology, the Wangjiawan campus of Central South University and Changsha District Vocational Technical College. It mainly solves the prombles that campus plant landscape design from macro to micro, from concept to quantization, from "planting trees" to reflect the campus culture and space mood and so on, and reachs thoughtful intelligent conclusions above these.Based on the study of plant landscape for Changsha University Of Science And Technology Yuntang Campus, Central South University Wangjiawan Campus and Changsha Social Work College, this article mainly studies the plant landscape of several different functional partitions in universities. Through the analysis of the plant landscape layout, the common plant used and the beauty conception created, it summed up the problems in all the university different functional partition’s plant landscape and gave concrete proposals. Finally it proposed the countermeasure for functional partitions’plant landscape in college campuses in Changsha. The field of campus plant landscaping of Changsha will acquire some useful experiences through the study of the subject, providing the reference for Changsha even the similar cities in the southern area of China.
