In recent years, according to China’s specific national conditions and the actualdemand, put forward the construction of innovative country as a major strategic policy,and to enhance the capability of independent innovation and cultivate innovative talentsas the state of all aspects of the development of the primary driving force.“Innovationcountry” required education mode is characterized by the combination of study,emphasis on training the students’ independent thinking and independent problemsolving ability. But how to train students to think independently, to solve problemsindependently and learn in order to practise ability, so as to make more contributions, isplaced in front of the modern education an important issue. Laboratory as an importantplace to cultivate the ability to innovate, to solve practical problems, has been paid greatattention in China. Especially the schools, they continue to train, supply talent for thecountry, in these years of continuous exploration, began to gradually improve theschools’ laboratory construction.In this paper, through the investigation of safety engineering specialties’ graduatesin Inner Mongolia University of Science and Technology, against them in the writinggraduation design encounter inconvenience, and in their internship sites for personalpractice, put forward the school to build a fire protection systems and security systemslaboratory, and directed a seventy square meter room in the school of miningengineering to specific conduction, in order to achieve the teaching requirements, at thesame time also for the students to further academic research and innovation activitiesprovided an important platform for practice.The laboratory includes fire protection systems and security systems, the twosystems of knowledge is broad, therefore this paper only for laboratory fire protectionsystems construction to make thorough analysis and research, mainly including:according to the laboratory’s specific situation, carries on the fire and smoke zoning; thedetailed analysis of laboratory of automatic fire alarm systems, smoke control systems,fire linkage systems’ working principle and these systems is how to realize the linkage,how to undertake selection, and direct some of the key systems to carry on theexperiment simulation and the experimental conclusion; finally, the device specificconstruction, maintenance and upkeep in detail; the conclusion part of the laboratorythe prospect to make the planning and prospect.
