With the increasing number of highway tunnels in the mountain area, problems about fire protection design of long and especially long highway tunnels comes. Tunnel fire protection is an important safety measure to ensure the safety of tunnel operation, so the reasonable design of highway tunnel fire prevention of highway tunnel fire is of great significance.In this paper, on the basis of LeiJia Po No.1 tunnel construction drawings and in accordance with the proportion of 1:1, established a CAD model of pedestrian crosswalk dealers and transverse. Combined with the theory of highway tunnel fire, we use an authoritative fire simulation software FDS, which was developed by the United States Institute of standards and Technology(NIST) to simulate a typical highway tunnel fire condition(medium fire). Smoke field, temperature field, CO concentration field of fire conditions in Lei Jia Po No.1 tunnel are simulated and analyzed.According to the pattern of temperature, CO and smoke visibility field distribution when a fire occurs in tunnel, this paper discusses the basic principles of fire control in Lei Jia Po No.1 tunnel. According to these principles, fire control system of Lei Jia Po No.1 tunnel is analyzed and fire protection strategy is studied. According to these fire protection strategy, the technical requirements and design of fire protection system of Lei Jia Po No.1 tunnel is put forward. Setted with the fire, fire hydrant, aqueous film forming foam fire extinguisher, fire hydrants and other fire-fighting facilities, equipped with intelligent highway tunnel fire protection system and advanced closed-circuit television monitoring system, and setted with tunnel fire automatic alarm system, tunnel emergency telephone system, cable radio command system, we can carry out rescue and command people in time once fire occured in tunnel,which solves the problem of fire rescue in Lei Jia Po No.1 tunnel. The analysis method has very important value of engineering application.
