In recent years,Some old buildings achieve the required design working life withthe pace of China’s urbanization and reconstruction of old city is accelerating. Thedemands of renovation for these old buildings also increase,develop brings a freshvigor and power.The sticking reinforcement is one of the most popular method in the strengthprojects. This method consists of two specific forms:steel reinforcement and CFRPreinforcement. The two methods use steel and CFRP as reinforcement material toreinforce steel concrete bearing capacity. The sticking reinforce will get favor ofdesign organizations and constructions for its simple production process、shortconstruction period、high strength and lowcost.However, most of reinforcement structures belong to old buildings,and theirwork life are more than twenty years. There is a great potential safety hazard in thesebuiltings for the lack of fire protection design、the internal structure complex and thecombustible building materials. The sticking reinforce will lose its meaning if fireengender serious consequences. Meanwhile the research of concrete fire design andfire damage is too scarce in our country,and research about the fire resistance andresistance to elevated temperatures of reinforcement material is still unripe. Byexperimenting of the sticking reinforcement at elevated temperatures and in the fire,some conclusions for the sticking reinforcement is given,it includes two parts:(1)According to the experiment of the sticking reinforcement briquette strengthafter heating and cooling down we will get some conclusions about the strengthstructural adhesive used in the sticking steel strengthening and sticking CFRPstrengthening in the heat. Results of the trial indicated that two kinds of differentstructural adhesive strength were decreased and the strength of structural adhesiveused in sticking CFRP strengthening decrease larger,so its heat resistance is poorer.(2)Through experimental verification the fireproofing effect of the fire-retardantpaints in the fire was found to summarize how to paint the fire-retardant paints in thesticking reinforcement and the rules between coating thickness and member sizes for later actual project. The fire-retardant paints used in this experimen was non-bulgythick steel structure paint. Tests showed that non-bulgy thick steel structure paint alsoapplies to the sticking reinforcement for reinforced concrete,and it have the samegood effect to two different briquettes in the calefactive conditions and fire endurancetime. In conclusion,30mm covering layer was reasonable for the briquettes in thesticking reinforcement.
