According to the development of modern construction,each developed country begins to resurvey management system of fire protection design,and put forward 'capability' design system.When doing performance-based fire protection design,we usually need fire models to carry through analog computation about possible scenario in burning construction.Then,we can get changes and developments of relevant fire parameters of each area in construction.According to those computations,we can judge whether fires under different conditions may damage human's lives or stable structures in construction.At the same time,we can evaluate whether relevant fire protection designs can reduce fire risks to acceptable levels.And we also can make sure whether we need perfect or change relevant measures.Due to author's nearly ten years fire experience,this paper take performance-based fire protection to solve some problems about a major industrial construction project as an example,synthetically expounding methods and procedures about performance-based fire protection of foreign construction.According to analyzing irrationality and boundedness our country's currently the formulation of sorting out the Fire Department,the author contrastively summarizes advantages of performance-based fire design.At the same time,this paper discusses and demonstrates feasibility which adopts performance-based fire design in constructions.And the paper also points out we should put performance-based fire in perspective.Nowadays,we should use those as important supplement for prescriptive design approaches.Then,we can not neglect its tremendous development prospect.This paper take passenger cars place of Technology Center in Province city as modeling the construction project.As the important part of passenger cars place of Technology Center in Province city,the project has many monomer building designs and complex building functions.Due to operating requirements limits of monomer building's area and inner functional zone,parts of fire protection design in process can not strictly in the light of current fire safety rules.To ensure people's life safety that live in constructions when the fire happened,this paper takes performance-based fire design safety assessment to analyze and estimate fire protection design problems in constructions,and designs reasonable solutions to guarantee or improve structural fire protection safety level.According to design organization's data and blueprint's analysis,this paper will study construction nature,fire zone design,personnel evacuating design and so on.
