Study On Expressway Traffic Accident Causation In Heilongjiang Province Based On Multivariate Analysis

The issue of freeway traffic safety is serious. The condition ofHeilongjiang highway traffic safety is unoptimistic and it also creates theheavy loss for Heilongjiang Province’s economy. This paper proposes somereasonable traffic safety countermeasures by contrasting the condition of trafficsafety in Heilongjiang Province and the domestic and that of foreign researchthrough the analysis so that it prevents and reduces traffic accident’soccurrence.Along with the unceasing increase of vehicles, the situation for highwaytraffic safety will be very stern. This paper aims at present situation, incomingseven years’ statistical data concerning with highway traffic accidents inHeilongjiang Province from2003to2009. First it has carried on the summaryand elaboration to the present traffic accident characteristic in Heilongjiang，which has promulgated the time of traffic accidents, the spatial, the accidentshape as well as the distributed rule for the age and the type of death personnel.Then it has carried on the statistical analysis to the accident origin from several aspects as the human, the vehicle, the road and the environment, elaborating onrelations between each influencing factor and traffic accidents. At last itdiscovers the major targets to reflect the highway distribution characteristic inthe aspects of time and spatial by utilizing the multivariate analysis to analyzethe highway safety condition in Heilongjiang, which is helpful in controls ofthe highway safety condition in Heilongjiang, in order to take thecorresponding prevention measures.
