Analysis On Traffic Accident And Preventive Countermeasures In Freeway Tunnel

This paper carries on an in-depth study on traffic safety in freeway tunnel, including traffic characteristics, distribution characteristics of traffic accidents, influence factors of traffic accidents, the identification of accident black-spots, preventive countermeasures of traffic accidents.On the basis of looking back the developing course of freeway and highway tunnel, this paper affirms the necessity of developing freeway tunnel in our country. From two aspects of traffic environment and running mode of vehicles in tunnel, it analyses traffic characteristics of freeway tunnel. Through analyzing the exiting traffic models of freeway, it uses macro-dynamic traffic flow model to discuss the traffic flow characteristic of freeway tunnel. This paper also analyzes the qualitative and quantitative relationship among traffic volume, speed, traffic composition, traffic noise and traffic pollution.From three aspects of monthly distribution, weekly distribution and hourly distribution, this paper analyzes time distribution characteristics of traffic accidents. According to the characteristic of freeway tunnel and driving characteristic, it divides four zones in tunnel and analyzes the space distribution characteristics of traffic accidents. According to the actual data, it analyzes modality characteristics of traffic accidents. This paper contrasts the proportion of accident vehicle type and traffic flow vehicle type and gains vehicle type characteristics of traffic accidents.Through analyzing influence factors of freeway tunnel, this paper puts forward the conception model of traffic accidents. From two angles of drivers' traffic behavior and tunnel management behavior, it analyzes human factors in traffic accidents. From two aspects of vehicle serviceability and traffic conditions, it analyzes vehicle factors in traffic accidents.
