Study On Highway Passenger And Freight Transportation Network Optimization Development Countermeasures Of Rural And Pastoral Areas In Inner Mongolia

As a foundation and leading industry of economic development in rural areas, therural road transport’s status and role becomes more and more important. It is more andmore urgent for the rural road transport industry to realize leap-forward development.After a long-term development, the vast rural areas, which relied on road transport,initially eased the difficulties of travel, freight. However, duing to the restrictions ofroads and other traffic infrastructure, the service quality of rural transport is stillrelatively low, and unable to meet growing transportation demands. The contradictionbetween supply and demand is still the main contradiction of the rural road transport.This thesis introduces the road transport market development history of InnerMongolia Autonomous Region in detail, and analyses the outstanding problems ofpassenger and freight transport of the rural and pastoral areas in Inner Mongolia onroads, stations and vehicles. According to the rural and pastoral areas of passenger andfreight transport demand analysis and forecasting, we identify the source of the problem.To solve these problems, this paper puts forward a method to optimize comprehensivecapabilities of the transportation network, and identifies the determinants of decision tothe development of rural and pastoral areas of passenger and freight transport, andproposes policy guarantee measures. So that this paper provides a targeted strategy forpassenger and freight transport development of the rural and pastoral areas in InnerMongolia.
