Abstract/Summary:
Aerological exploration is closely related to human life and has direct impact on fields as infrastructure construction, science technology development and environment protection. Common aerological detection is taken by radiosonde carried by sounding balloon. However, in case of earthquake or no man’s land, and other special environments, the measurement can not be carried out. Meteorological instrument in this paper was designed using the air-born model. The meteorological instrument is dropped with a parachute at an appointed height by a plane. Data of air temperature, humidity, pressure, wind speed and the position of the device is measured and transferred to the control center by radio. This type of air-born meteorological instrument is more widely used than the traditional ones.The design of the meteorological instrument is divided into six parts in this paper. First, the theory for measuring wind speed was analyzed with great efforts. Second, the technologies of positioning device in the meteorological instrument were compared and analyzed. Third, the wireless communication networking of meteorological instrument was selected according to its functioning environment. Fourth, hardware of the instrument was designed with DSP as its central unit. Fifth, programs in the monitoring device were designed for providing real-time display and category-based searching. Sixth, the system was debugged and tested preliminarily.
