With the development of the times,the advancement of science and technology,the mode of modern warfare has already grown from a simple land mechanized combat mode to the multi-arms cooperative informatization three-dimensional operations.The operational mode transformation claims more severe requirements on communication,on the premise of good mobility,good security and anti-jamming is required as well.Radio communication has its inherent advantages due to its flexibility in layout and anti-jamming,it has been widely used in high-tech modern electronic information warfare.As the core hardware to build military wireless communication network,when the military radio station broke down,the traditional method to resolve it is to manually test the key indicators of radio transmitter and receiver by taking advantage of signal generator,frequency meter,spectrum analyzer and other general instruments.In recent years,with the development of automatic testing technology,several of automatic radio detection systems have been exploited based on general instrument under computer control,such systems greatly improve the efficiency and automation of radio detection,but due to it’s too big,so it’s inconvenient to build and test in the wild,not suitable for fast repair on the battlefield.This paper is to analyze the current status and technology of the current radio test system,and proposes a small radio integrated detection instrument suitable for use in field conditions according to actual needs.The detector applied the embedded technology and software radio technology,and is designed with a portable integrated structure and embedded with a lithium battery,which has strong environmental adaptability.It has the function of performing maintenance inspection on various types of radio stations,used to detect radio functions and performance indicators for force maintenance support personnel.On the designed hardware platform,a set of test control software was developed based on the embedded system of Linux.The software has a friendly human-computer interface and operating environment,and it is easy to use.The control hardware device can manually and automatically test the digital sensitivity of the receiver,the receiver analog sensitivity,the squelch sensitivity,the carrier power,the frequency error,the analog frequency offset,the audio output,the audio harmonic distortion coefficient,the standing wave ratio coefficient and other indicators.Furthermore,the maintenance inspection record can be archived historically.It has a complete system self-checking function,which can display and output the inspection result.The internal program of the tester can be upgraded by program injection to meet the testing requirements of the new equipment.Finally,using the universal instrument to test the radio detector and test a certain type of ultrashort wave radio station,and the performance of the whole machine is comprehensively evaluated.The test results show that the tester can meet the needs of the detection of radio functions and performance indicators.
