Fuse is playing a much more important role in modern war. With the rapid development of modern electronic technology, people aim to design the fuse in a short time without sacrifice their excellence performance. However, the traditional physical testing way needs large financial support, huge workload and material resources, as well as plenty of time.In order to overcome these shortcomings above, the frequency modulation (FM) Doppler radio fuse simulation testing system is reseached. It uses NI USB-6211 data acquisition card and relative hardware modules on the LabVIEW8.0 software platform.This system can simulate the working state of the FM Doppler fuse under the situation of the pill flying. The object simulator simulates object echo signal which is poured into the fuse detector through space coupling. The acquisition equipment obtains the exciting signal's response of several parts of fuse. The response is fed back to the computer. The device can acquire the working frequency and frequency bandwidth of the fuse, judge the range, test the starting sensitivity, anti-interference performance and so on. Repeated experiments show that the simulation testing system can provide a good testing method of new-type FM Doppler radio fuse. Since the software and hardware uses the open style structure, this system can be easily expanded to the latest similar fuse.
