Today’s world are now facing with the shortage of energy. With the background of the concentration on energy saving, emission reduction and environment protection of many countries, China have also enhance the supervision of the energy saving of high-energy consuming equipment. China had launched several laws and regulations, providing legal basis for the implementation of supervision, which appeared to be a very sound foundation.The waste of energy of industrial boilers in China is severe, and the thermal efficiency of industrial boilers is generally low, which made the energy saving of boilers the focus of all kinds of energy saving and possessed great potential for energy saving. The implementation of energy saving of boilers will provide huge benefit from the perspective of energy saving.The thesis/dissertation systematically expounded the specific methods of test and evaluation of energy efficiency of boilers and analyzed the factors influencing the energy efficiency of boilers. The thesis/dissertation is based on the test of thermal performance and evaluation of the energy efficiency of a DZL29-1.6/130/70-AⅡ(Ⅲ) hot-water boiler, revealing the problems of high fume exhaust temperature, high exhaust excess air coefficient and low thermal efficiency.The thesis/dissertation also recorded the reformation have been provided such as to add convection boiler economizer to tail end gas pass,to recycle the boiler’s excess heat of fume exhaust, to lower the boiler’s fume exhaust temperate and to increase the boiler’s water inlet temperature; also through adjusting blast volume and draft volume, to examine the leak proofness of furnace wall, the grate plenum chamber and the tail end gas pass, making the exhaust excess air coefficient operate under reasonable parameter. After reformation the boiler will increase the heating capacity by13.23MW, improve the thermal efficiency by16.98%and gain better economic and social benefit.
