A Research On The Basic Tectonic Of The Vernacular Architecture

The purpose of basic relationship of the Dali traditional courtyard houses is through the analysis of the basic relationship of the Dali residential, sorting out prototype which in these ones, the trait space, the rule of constitute and the logic of construction and applying it to renewal development of Dali settlements and residential and providing some basis of examination for contemporary regional architectural creation.In this thesis, the starting point is the basic relationship of analysis the Dali construct.The corresponding research based on residential prototype, trait space, the law of constitute and the logic of construction.These might provide some clues for the research.The thesis focuses on discussing the flat shape of the traditional residence of the Dali, prototype and prototype topology; the spatial qualities of the screen wall, veranda, leakage angle; the law of the composition of building elements; Analysis the logic of the construction between wooden frame structure and retaining wall and the ground relations, the development mode of Single vernacular architecture to the the community settlement and the adaptability between vernacular architecture and landform, then to extract the basic relationship and some universal concise rules of the traditional courtyard vernacular architecture.In the first chapter of the thesis, the purpose of this study and its significance, and analysis the status and trends of research which similar domestic and foreign. The second chapter, comb and explore the basic prototype of the courtyard-style houses in the Dali, try to find its prototype with the typology method, and then analysis its prototype to see whether the prototype topology and evolution.The third chapter of the thesis analyzes the characteristics space of the Dali traditional courtyard houses to explore the relationship between layout and space, trying to explore the possibility of its space conversion.Chapter IV, study the mutual relationship between the architectural elements of the Dali houses, trying to find a constitutive law among variety of architectural elements. In chapter5, analyze the logic of construction of the Dali traditional courtyard houses, analytic construction logic of its structure and how poetic to build with using of the principle of tectonic. Finally of a chapter, investigate the ordered organic growth and change of traditional courtyard vernacular architecture of the Dali,consider the relationship between Dali traditional courtyard vernacular architecture and ground and the relationship between Dali traditional courtyard vernacular architecture and more complex environment.
