Abstract:Catenary theory is recognized to reflect the characteristics of gravity of the suspension. Because it is difficult to solvetranscendental equation in the past,the catenary can not be applied to practical engineering.In order to meet the practical needs,theparabola,the suspension curve and Perturbation method were developed gradually in practice to replace the catenary toapproximately calculate the suspension.With the computer used in the suspension design, the catenary equations calculation can beachieved.To further expand field of use of range of the suspension of theory,improve the precision of engineering designs andcalculations,many scholars began to study the catenary theory.The research method of single-span catenary theory include: Deducing and establishing the mathematical model of deflectionand tension on unloading suspension was on based on the standard curve of catenary.After deriving the relationship between thelevel of tension and deflection,the equation of state coordination need to be established to satisfy the compatibility condition ofsuspension deformation before and after loading.Finally,the calculation of loading tension and deflection could be solved by Newtoniterative method.The key to the study of shifting multi-span aerial tramway on catenary theory is how to establish the relationship of leveltension among different-span suspension.In order to simplify the model of multi-span suspension theory,some scholars used theassumption which deprived from the multi-span parabolic,ignored the friction produced between tightrope and saddle in shiftingprocess to establish a theoretical model of multi-span catenary,which is inconsistent with the actual situation.To proceed fromreality,Papers established mathematical model about the interaction force between saddle and tightrope,and deduced the relationshipof level tension between2adjacent-span suspension.After established the equation of state coordination multi-span catenary,papersused Visual Basic6.0to develop of single-span and multi-span suspension on catenary.The design system could check out the safetyand durability of suspension and draws vertical section profile of the aerial tramway as a design reference.Measuring the data of double-span aerial cableway,the measured data as benchmark was used to analyze theories.The designcalculation system of multi-span catenary and parabolic was developed to calculate the theoretical results and cases.The comparisonwas made among the theoretical calculation results of two kinds catenary,parabolic and measured datd,the result show that averageerror rate of the three charge linear less than5%and the catenary studied in this paper is feasible and accurate.The research of suspension vibration has become the unavoidable content to suspension theory.Studying suspension vibrationon the basis of catenary statics can solve the phenomenon of the bucket or suspension dropping down because of the severe vibrationof the suspension of aerial tramway,which has the important significance.The paper derived the basic equations of the suspensionvibration,solved the order linear vibration frequency on the suspension and analyzed preliminary the application principle of thefrequency of suspension linear.The values of one frequency of suspension are0.438rad/s and0.406rad/s,which is calculated by thecase,so that comparisons of both the pros and cons of frequency accuracy....
