The development of track traffic is significant to improve the environment and reduce the traffic congestion. The electricity is transmitted from contact line to train for driving the vehicle by touch. Contact line is suspended on the design height by dropper and messenger wire. So the stability of catenary determines the running state of vehicle. The stability of catenary is influenced by the bad environment and the structural parameters of catenary. This thesis intends to study the relationship between structural parameters and dynamic performance of pantgraph-catenary. The model is optimized and numerically simulated. It provides theoretical basis for detection technology of catenary, and it has important theoretical value and practical significance for catenary maintenance and diagnosis technology.This thesis is based on the simulation model of pantgraph-catenary. The transverse skewing of catenary caused by nature environment is studied. The vibration performance of pantograph-catenary is analyzed at the different case of dropper, section of line and catenary irregularity. The quality of current collection is evaluated according to the judgment standards.The physical model of transverse vibration of catenary is established. The davenport spectrum is introduced and the wavelet analysis is used to make numerical simulation on horizontal fluctuating of stochastic wind fields in different height. The wind is excitation source of external force which is loaded on the catenary. The lateral vibration of catenary was analyzed in straight line segment by loading the stochastic wind, average wind and the maximum wind. The influences of lateral displacements of catenary were studied with different parameters.The nonlinear relationship between contact stress and displacement of pantgraph is studied. And the relationship between the height of the bow and the angle of the bow risingis analyzed. The influence of damping of dropper to pantograph-catenary system is studied.The influence to the stability of current collection is researched with the dynamic change of catenary. Due to the self feature of catenary, the stiffness irregularity of the line in the face is caused by fold and wear, and the sag of line is caused due to the gravity. The calculation method of face irregularity and sag of line is analyzed, and the stability of pantograph-catenary system is researched.The influence to the contact stress and the vibration curve of line is studied when the stiffness and damping of droppers are changed. The influence to the current collection of pantograph is analyzed when the dropper in different location is failure. The influence to the vertical vibration characteristics of pantograph-catenary is researched which is caused by the wear of the section when the vehicle is operating. And the safety limit of wear of line is provided, based on the current collection standard. It will be used as the technical guidance when the catenary is inspected.
