Design Strategies Research On The Healing Garden Of Autistic Children

This study is major in the healing garden of autistic children. Firstly, to review the literature on healing gardens, to understand the benefits of this type of garden, hospital facilities and healthcare institutions in the history of the gardens. In addition, through published books and articles, to understand the impact of nature on stress, health, and natural healing. Because of this article in order to study that suitable for outdoor environments for autistic children, which will also be extended to outdoor environments of children and theme of the game.Autistic children has its particularity, on the characteristics and nature of the autistic children study to determine their strengths, deficits, needs, as well as the treatments of autistic children. Based on these studies, to determine the methods of treatments that can be applied to outdoor environments.A healing center for autistic children in Qingdao, through the case studies, to understand this special group of children with autism deeply, to interview the relevant experts to obtain first-hand information on autistic children, and to conduct investigations into the healing garden at the Centre, to determine if healing treatment methods and design elements of the garden should be used. Finally, to conclude the design strategies of the healing garden for autistic children, and to hope this article to draw attention to somebody who is researching on autistic children and designing healing garden for them, and can provide useful references for future researches on this subject.
