Design And Research On The Healing Garden Of Autistic Children

Autism children as a special group in need social concern bear the pain of torture lifelong and incurable. This high incidence and difficult to cure of features make research its treatment is urgent. Therefore as a landscape design students, it is necessary to build an outdoor platform from the perspective of landscape design for autistic children, it provides them the freedom to play without any discrimination, to participate in activities and games. This helps alleviate the symptoms of children with autism, and gradually overcome their dysfunction, as far as possible to be able to resume a normal life and interpersonal. This design model will benefit thousands of families with autism children, so discussion of this design pattern also provides useful exploration for currently nearly blank autistic children rehabilitation garden design.This article first the principle of rehabilitation of nature cure and rehabilitation of the garden were discussed, and demonstrate combined with related cases. There is inspiration about autistic children rehabilitation garden through a case study of the rehabilitation garden.This article first symptoms and dysfunction of autistic children were discussed to understand the characteristics and needs of this group of autistic children, so rehabilitation garden design is targeted and easy to play better rehabilitation effect. Through the traditional treatment of autistic children research and analysis, summed up treatment with a combination of outdoor landscape environment, rich autism rehabilitation garden landscape design space partitions and to further enhance the efficacy of rehabilitation garden.Second, this paper not do explore symptom and dysfunction in autistic children but also understand the characteristics and needs of this group, so that rehabilitation garden design highly targeted. Through traditional methods of rehabilitation of autistic children, summed up the rehabilitation methods combined with outdoor space for a garden space system to guide the construction of rehabilitation, so that the space partition diversity.Though analysis of the needs and characteristics of autistic children, to draw design inspiration rehabilitation garden. And to analyze the parents of children with autism and special education teacher survey results draw design inspiration.Last, the design applied to real cases. In a word, autistic children’s rehabilitation garden mainly apply the five senses to stimulate plants to people, gardening operating activities, animal therapy, sensory integration equipment, training and meditation leisure activities to help autistic children gradually overcome sensory integration disorder, conduct disorder and social barrier.
