A Study Of The Design Process Of Healing Garden For Autism Children

For recent years, there are various researches about Healing Garden, which include rehabilitation theories and design methods, at home and abroad.Healing garden has certain particularity, namely the stability of the long-term use crowd, rehabilitation period is relatively slow, and design for adjusting extending space is large after landing.In the view of the particularity of healing garden design, and at the same time of the healing garden design method should be adjusted.Based on the Horticultural Therapy in Healing Garden for autistic children, the reach explores the design process of the Healing Garden design, as a landscape design process combined with medical practice of rehabilitation.Purpose of this article, combined with relevant cases, put forward the possibility of concurrent design process with users’feedback. Further more, this thesis using other subjects design process, to derive the PDPE design cycle. And use real case as an example to verify the feasibility of its operation.The main content of this research for the following groups:1. The full analysis of topic background and the research status at home and abroad, to focus on the purpose of the research, content, and the key problems.With experimental research methods, further clarify the technical route and validation protocols and rigorous research process.2. Taking suitable technical route, combining the literature research, in order to define the scopes of researches, as well as the research object and the concept of classification.From the perspectives of multidisciplinary rehabilitation therapy for children with autism, Horticultural Therapy in Healing Garden as the feasibility of interventional therapy, as theoretical support, lay the premise and meaning of research. And analyzes the research status at home and abroad, determines the research foundation, and puts forward the core issue of research.3. Drawning from the core modules of the design process through cases analysis, summarized the keys of healing garden design process should cover. Collecting the design concepts from other disciplines, and deducing tectonic autistic children rehabilitation garden design cycle-PDPE (Plan Designing Pototyping Estimate).4. Using real project to verify PDPE design cycle’s scientific and its derivation.This paper orders to provide reference for healing garden design.
