The global demand for automobiles is increasing dramatically, and China is showing its great potential. Auto parts industry is basis for the developing of automobile manufacturing. And inbound logistics of auto parts is that auto companies according to the needs of production, management and strategic objectives in a timely manner to quickly provide and organize the logistics activities of the component items. Inbound logistics due to the large number of parts involved, the overall rhythm of coordination, collaboration requires a high characteristic, is recognized as one of the key link of the healthy operation of the logistics system and continuous optimization.Therefore, how to combine car manufacturers’ logistics system with third-party logistics company effectively, optimize the existing logistics operation model, and reduce logistics cost based on the reality of our country is an important research topic and content. This paper analyzed the shortcomings and deficiencies of the traditional inbound logistics mode. Combined with the advantage of Milk run, a inbound logistics model based on the third-part logistics’ was put forward. This paper proposed car manufacturing plant with the new inbound logistic mode instead of the traditional inbound logistics mode.Another key issue on using Milk run inbound logistics mode is optimize the route. The paper pick up the route through mathematical modeling and use improved ant colony algorithm to solve the model, obtained after optimization pickup route, and gives examples. At the end, through a domestic vehicle manufacturer to research, this paper is designed into the inbound logistics mode is applied to auto manufacturer in inbound logistics, and test the feasibility and economy into Milk run inbound logistics.Finally, it applies the model build in this paper into an automobile manufacturing company and analyzed the auto parts’inbound logistics to prove this model’s advantage.
