With the rapid development of the economy,the reformation of the education systerm and the increased enrolments in recent years,the high school is undergoing a massive, fast construction. The restriction of land and the change of the modern teaching function gradually make the complexed-teaching building become the main stream of the school architecture. The complexed-teaching building means integrated and centralized.It include many of the functions,such as office, experiment and classroom. This kind of layout can strengthen the exchange between different branches. This intensive design put the limited information, resources and facilities together, and can raise their use efficiency.But there are many problems in the design of complexed-teaching building. The design concept is old, the comfort insufficiency,and the teaching space and education mode can’t adapt, etc.This paper studies the predecessor’s research results and the latest building case in recent years,and summaries the design strategy of the public space of complexed-teaching building. This article mainly divided into four parts:The first part is the first and the second chapter: In this part, we come up with present situation and the related theory of this field, combed the teaching building development context, and summarizes the teaching architectural features of the complex. In addition, we select several samples of teaching complex building,summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of existing designThe second part is the third chapter: According to the second part of existing problems in the public space of complexed-teaching building, we study the mode of modern education, the behavior mode of the users, the emotional and psychological context and natural environment of campus.And try to find out how this factors influence the design of the public space.The third part is the fourth and fifth chapter: According to the third chapter’s strategy of space design, we summary the specific methods of the public space, and put forward the development direction in the after.The fourth part is the epilogue part, including the reviews of this paper and the research limitations.
