With the rapid development of China economy and the continuous improvement of people’s living standard, many existing buildings in China have been unable to meet the new functional requirements, need alterations of capacity design. The business-living building in Shanxi province that original structure of the main plus layer from five-story to twenty-story is currently one of most typical concrete layer-increasing project in China.(The added layers is more, for a reference standard material is less, the difficulty is large) The author conducted in-depth discussion in this article on reference problems in the process of constriction, and through the finite element analysis software SAP2000and ETABS the paper tried provide analysis basics to added structure. Ultimately consider the available of technology the author determined the final add-layer structure system. The analysis and design of the project will provide certain references for the similar projects in future. The main content of the research work are as follows: First of all, by the use of the SAP2000finite element analysis software analysis the original five-story frame structure modeling, obtained performance, deformation and bearing capacity under the conditions of the original design. Secondly, do the Pushover analysis on the frame structure, and derived structure of the performance points to determine the weak parts of the structure.Forth more use the ETABS analysis software to analysis the reinforcement structure after adding to the overall modeling, come to the added layer structure under various conditions of internal force values and variation, and to verify the feasibility of the additional layer and the structure of security.Finally, according to the data of the field settlement statistics, the author does a systematic analysis from the cumulative subsidence, sedimentation rate and regression analysis to verify the feasibility of foundation reinforcement.
