Due to the advantages of light weight and quick construction,light steel added layer is widely used in the layer structure modification of existing structures,and the seismic performance of the structure is changed after the layer is added.On the one hand,the overall structure becomes softer and the period increases.On the other hand,the quality and rigidity of the light steel part and the original structure change suddenly.The light steel part tends to have obvious whiplash effect.So the reinforcement of the building after the added layer is needed.Isolation reinforcement method is an effective way developed in recent years.By adding a seismic isolation layer between the superstructure and the foundation(or the substructure)of the building to block the transmission of seismic energy to the superstructure can also be used in the reinforcement project.In this paper,the research is about the light steel seismic isolation and reinforcement project of an outpatient hospital building,studying the influence of different light steel added layers and isolation layer layout on the light-weight reinforced concrete mixed seismic structure.Using the finite element analysis software SAP2000,make a non-isolated structural model of the original structure with no added layer,one added layer,two added layers and three added layers of light steel frame,and we make an isolation structure model of using three kinds of solutions to reinforce and to isolate the earthquake when adding one or two layers of light steel frame.Ten structural models are analyzed by modal analysis,response spectrum analysis,and inputting seismic wave to the dynamic time analysis.We compare and analyze these analyses and parameters to draw some useful conclusions.In this paper,the analyses conclude that: with no seismic isolation reinforcement measures being taken,the light steel added layer will have a larger layer displacement response to form a weak layer due to the whiplash effect.After adopting the isolation technology to reinforce,which changes the vibration characteristics of the structure.The floor shear and the inter-layer displacement amplitude and the acceleration response of the superstructure are greatly reduced,which can effectively protect the structure and the internal equipment from being damaged in the earthquake.
