Research On Development Stratagy Of Public Transport Priority In Laiwu

Public Transport Priority（PTP）is necessary for the sustainable development of citiesand their traffic management, and it is an important part for the construction of resourcesaving and environmental friendly society. Based on the studies by a lot of cities, thispaper places an emphasis on the development strategy of PTP in Laiwu, so as to promotethe public transport in this city.Initially, some relative basic theories of PTP are introduced, and the meanings,theoretical reasons, influencial factors and emphases of the development stratagy of PTPare put forward. Then, the paper investigates the status quo of public transport operationand management in Laiwu. Some crucial problems in the development of publictransport are expatiated. As a result, the development stratagy goals of PTP in Laiwu arepointed out. It makes research on price making policies of public transport based on theimpact of price and service quality on transport mode choice. Through the comparingamong the investing and financing modes at home and abroad, it concludes theadvantages, disadvantages and suitable conditions, then makes sure the influencialfactors. After that, the investing and financing mode of public transport in Laiwu ischoosed. Combined with the transport characteristic of Laiwu, it sets forth thedevelopment stratagy of PTP and brings forward some feasible ways to utilize the publictransport resources. This research offers a reference and basis for public transportadministrators to enhance the traffic developmental level of Laiwu city.
