With the development of economy recent years and the acceleration of urbanization progress, the problem of traffic congestion has gradually become the main factors to influence social and economic progress, urban development and resident trip. In the process in solving complex traffic problems, people have gradually realized the importance of priority of public transportation. As a major mode of transportation, coordinated transportation between urban rail transit and bus service can not only give full play to the characteristics of the two public transit ways and realize the complementary effect, but also can improve the service efficiency of public transit network to make passengers more convenient, in order to improve the proportion of public transport in the trip, and promote the rapid development of the city.The aim of researching the method of making coordinated transport scheduling between urban rail transit and bus system is to make sure the transport scheduling coordinated between two different public transportation ways, so making a coordinated timetable and realizing the coordinated operation and effective connection is this thesis’s main work. In order to research the problem of making coordinated timetable effectively, this thesis sets up the coordinated operation model with two aspects as follow: the model between urban rail transit and ground conventional bus system and the model between suburban rail transit and community bus.Firstly, this thesis summarized the research status and deeply analyzed the related concept of making coordinated transport scheduling in detail.Secondly, based on the research above this thesis fully considered the influence factors of the coordinated operation between urban rail transit and ground conventional bus system, then set up a coordination model its aim is minimizing the costs of operators, passengers and society. According to the characters of the model, author designed the solving progress based on nonlinear genetic algorithm, then analyzed the model through an example of which results demonstrate that the coordinated model can reduce the system total cost, passengers travel cost and social cost effectively.Thirdly, based on the previous chapter’s research, considering the inherent characteristics and influencing factors of transfer between suburban rail transit and community bus, this chapter set up a model of making coordinated transport scheduling between suburban rail transit and community bus especially for seamless transition of passenger flow, then analyzed the algorithm in detail by the example.Finally, based on the actual scientific research project the author verified and analyzed the model of making coordinated transport scheduling between suburban rail transit and community bus through the actual example which data based on the situation of Beijing Tian Tong Yuan community bus and Beijing subway line5’s practical research and the existing data collection. The example showed that this model is reasonable and effective in solving community bus and suburban rail transit coordinated operation.The research results of this thesis demonstrate that the method and theory of making coordinated transport scheduling between urban rail transit and bus system can optimize the system cost, improve the service quality and supply theoretical basis and application method based on the actual condition of public transportation line network.
