First, the article describes the leakage current situation and the development of applications leakage estimated. The leakage estimated to be an important component of the urban water distribution network optimization scheduling system. The pipe network leakage estimated can enhance the effective control of water supply enterprises leakage to ensure the safety and reliability of water supply, alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand of the city tap water, and in large part to improve the economic efficiency of water supply enterprises, thereby achieving estimated by the leakage is one relates to people’s livelihoods, an important issue for the sustainable development of water resources.In this paper, through the pipe network node sensitivity analysis laid the limited flow monitoring points in the pipe network and traffic data for SCADA monitoring points, combined with the hydraulic computation and the adjustment principle and historical data, use seasonal exponential smoothing, based on the recorded data of the monitoring points within the same day and one month before the occurrence of leakage, estimate the leakage of water and leakage periods when the occurrence of leakage of the pipe network.The main innovation of this paper is to:(1) According to optimize the layout of the city water supply network traffic monitoring points to optimize the layout of the SCADA system monitoring points, analyze the different types of pipe network optimization of the flow monitoring point layout to identify the tube segment and node of the flow sensitivity in the entire city water supply network, sort the whole pipe in the pipe network in accordance with the sensitivity of the size, based on the situation on the ground and economy to optimize the layout of monitoring points,with a certain degree of rationality and its economic significance.(2) Proposed the traffic data through the use of state data of collected from the SCADA system water supply system pipe network, monitoring site traffic data changes caused by flow changes after the burst of the pipe network, estimate the leakage form urban water supply networks tube rupture, estimate the leakage of water through the application of seasonal smoothing index.Verified by examples, estimate the water supply pipe network layout leakage of optimized by monitoring traffic is reasonable, and this have important guiding significance in the practical work.
