With the development of scientific technology and raise the level of public life,consumer demand for cars also become more and more. Due to the increasing trafficaccidents to the world caused great human and property loss, consumers’ requirements ofauto safety of performance is more and more and high. Formerly, all kinds of new carbefore put on the market, we need to experiment with the real car safety and evaluate thecar safety performance and various aspects of experiments. The real car collisionexperiment cost and the time needed to is quite high. Nowadays, along with the computerhardware and software technology rapid development and all kinds of algorithms of deeplyand to realize in software applications, the computer simulation technology in automotiveproduct development and safety performance study has played a pivotal role.Airbags, as an effective safety protection device has been widely applied in modernvehicle safety protection devices. The invention of the airbag is mainly to in the collisionsprevent crew car collision with cars internal decoration pieces the crew of the auxiliaryconstraint system. Airbags belong to auto safety engineering passive safety researchcategory. Airbags simulation is the modern automobile safety assessment is an importantpart of. Therefore, set up accurately and joint practical model is very important. Forvarious airbag simulation method, we have Control volume Method (Control Volum, CV),the Computational Fluid Dynamics Method (Computational Fluid Dynamics, CFD) andparticle Method (Corpuscular Method, CPM) and so on. We mentioned in the severalmethods of airbag simulation is at present commonly used methods. We check in a balloonmodel is correct or not always use control volume method. In a contact case when thesimulation calculation, commonly used method is computational fluid dynamics methodand particle method, etc. The CFD method and the CPM method to deal with has acomplex contact case problems such as simulation with actual situation is closer. Thispaper mainly used computational fluid dynamics method and particle method for theresults of contrast. We mainly test two methods in the project of the airbags in simulationprocess can satisfy certain performance requirements. This thesis’s research work withShangHai Hengstar company to one domestic car front airbag simulation analysis ofproject, we established based on finite element algorithm simulation model and usecomputational fluid dynamic method and simulation particles comparative analysis. Using the computer simulation technology for airbag on analysis of the process, we want to knowwhat kind of method can meet more to the human body damage degree of smaller demandsare compared to the simulation results. This paper for project use computational fluiddynamics method and particle method of the two methods of simulation results contrast.The simulation results show that, particle method in simulation process from the results ismore in line with the requirements of the project we stress, low temperature and small crewof small force requirements. The research of this paper for the car collision happened whenthe traffic accident to the protection of the airbag crew has important significance.
