| Electronic Toll Collection System (ETC) can increase the transport capacity of the road, vehicle operating efficiency, and reduce fuel consumption, vehicle wear and tear and exhaust emissions, so as to achieve the purpose of saving energy and protecting the environment. To replace the cash charges by using of the ETC has become an inevitable trend. Although the ETC electronic toll collection system in China has made a great progress, but still faces many problems, which mainly have:In communication systems, each site of the ETC system using different models of the information collection and communication systems from variable manufacturers, applying different communication protocols, and being hard to carry out centralized network management; Terminal equipment hardware aspect, strong interference of the frequency of5.8G resulting in the phenomenon that the data cannot be identified or lost; the slow speed of roadside equipment(RSU) to identify. The popularization and application of the ETC system have had a great impact.This article designs the ETC system from the onstage and the backstage two parts: the onstage roadside equipment and car equipment with short-range wireless communication technology realize the high-speed data exchange of the roadside equipment and vehicle electronic tag; the backstage communication network is to set up MPLS L3VPN virtual private network based on the existing data communication network and a small range of network among the original site. The transmission process of system data shows as follows:the RSU and OBU transmit collected date to the base station through the DSRC communication; the BTS transmits respectively the data to the BSC, SGSN and GGSN modules, and then quickly and reliably to the charge management center processing and getting feedback, through the MPLS L3VPN virtual private network.This article focuses on the following three aspects:building MPLS L3VPN virtual private network on the basis of no changes to the original network combined with the actual demand of the ETC communication network, and applying the special MP-BGP to carry EBGP, RIP and static routing protocol to realize the centralized management of the toll station, being helpful for data security and high-speed transmission; putting forward a kind of roadside equipment scheme in the ETC electronic toll collection system. The system sets the PowerPC405processor as the core, the5.8GHz communications chip ML5830as the RF circuit, and introduces the frequency hopping to the process of short-range communication technology, achieving anti-jamming, high stability of a charging system; adapting the Packet Tracer5.0to make device configuration and to simulate protocol models, observing transmission line of data unit (PDU) in the network, and tracking the detailed handling situation of the PDU in the network nodes. The simulation results show that the system can complete the design requirements and can carry multi-protocol normal operation; effectively improving the speed of data collection and transmission, which has important theoretical value and practical significance. |
