| With the continuous growth of China’s port, the construction scale of port and berth is constantly expanding to meet the requirements of the large ship; the majority of large berths will inevitably be built in the open and semi-open deep waters. In addition to the huge investment, it also brings the safety of the mooring ships. Complex environmental conditions, mooring vessels have a more substantial movement under the action of wind, waves and currents and other external loads, making serious effect on the loading and unloading operations, extending the time of the ship moored at the berth, and sometimes even breaking the mooring lines which led to a greater loss and a significant impact to the mooring safety. The Majishan Port is located in the southern part of Zhou Shan City, Shengsi Islands. Although the favorable conditions of deep-water, conditions are more complex as the tide wave flow into the main tidal channel of the Yangtze River Estuary and Hangzhou Bay. In particular, southeast of2nd unloading berths is exposure in the open waters, combined with the length of the berths is shorter, making the the unload berths an unoptimistic mooring safety situation. To ensure the safety of the the Majishan Port, the paper first analyze the natural environment elements of the the Majishan Port, and then, by using OPTIMOOR software, testing the safety of the mooring in a variety of conditions to understand the security situation under different environmental conditions and making standards, for operation which having significance effect on the safe mooring of Majishan port.In this paper, through research on mooring system, it will provide principles and methods to optimize the design for the port, the best mooring conditions for mooring vessels and the safety operation standards for similar projects. It will also improve the operation efficiency and play an important role to enhance the economic benefits, security benefits and environmental benefits. |
