| Poly lactic acid fiber (corn fiber) is a kind of green fiber used widely now, basedon starch as raw material, and the starch is changed into lactic acid throughfermentation, and then corn fiber is produced through polymerization and meltspinning etc. steps. Corn fiber waste can be turned into the carbon dioxide and waterwithout polluting environment, and carbon dioxide and water can be turned intostarch under photosynthesis, so corn fiber can be used circularly.In this paper, corn fiber blended yarn produced by Shandong Kiddeco-technology Co., LTD. is used. The blended ratio of yarn is50%corn fiber and50%combed cotton fiber. The fineness of the blended yarn is18.46tex. Based on thestudy and analysis about the properties of corn fiber blended yarn, it is concluded thatcorn fiber has general strength, higher elongation and uniform of fineness. Its blendedyarn has general single-yarn strength, low elongation, good evenness, low moistureregain, very good hydraulic conductivity, low twist irregularity and more hairiness. Itis more sensitive to temperature, performance of heat resistance is general, and neitherresists strong alkalis nor acid.Five kinds of products were developed on the flat knitting machine. The knittingprocess and knitting key points were expounded. The basic properties of the fabricswere tested. The result shows that corn fiber blended yarn is suitable for developingfabrics.The fabric with air layer weave is used as research object, the scouring,bleaching and dyeing processes of the corn fiber fabrics are optimized by using thecombination method of single factor and orthogonal analytic method. The scouredprocess obtained from experiment is: NaOH2g/L, osmotic agent JFC6g/L, scouringagent1g/L, temperature90℃, time40min, and liquor ratio1∶20. After scouring, the0.5g/L acetic acid is used to neutralize for10min in80℃, then washing and drying.The optimized bleaching process is hydrogen peroxide(30%)15mL/L, sodium silicate6g/L, Sodium sulfite3g/L, penetrating agent JFC6g/L, pH value11, liquor ratio1∶20, temperature90℃and time60min. after Scouring and bleaching, the fabricwhiteness is increased, and bursting strength is down slightly, but this does not affectthe downstream processing.The optimized dyeing process is:for corn fibers, disperse blue79dye2%(o.w.f), the dyeing temperature60℃, the dyeing time30min, liquor ratio1∶20, after thisprocess, the reduction cleaning fluid consisted of1g/L of sodium carbonate and1~2g/L of sodium hydrosulfite should be used to clean the fabric, the washingtemperature is50℃, cleaning time is20min; for cotton fibers, reactive blue F-R dye2%(o.w.f), sodium hexametaphosphate1%(o.w.f), sodium carbonate25g/L,anhydrous sodium sulphate35g/L, the dyeing temperature60℃,the dyeing time30min, the fastening color temperature90℃, the fastening color time40min, liquorratio1∶20. Tested the properties of the dyed fabrics, the result is that the washingcolor fastness, the friction color fastness and the perspiration color fastness all meetthe demand well.Through the tests on the comfortableness, durability and dimensional stability ofcorn fiber fabrics, it is observed that the heat preservation, the air permeability, thewet permeability, the capillary effect, the bursting strength, the rigidity-flexibility, thedrapability and the crease recovery of corn fiber fabrics are all good. The wearabilityof the developed fabric is evaluated with fuzzy mathematical integrated evaluationmethod. The results show that all the properties of corn fiber knitted fabrics meet thedemands of wearability. Corn fiber is fit for garments. The products will have a largemarket potential, because it fits the consuming concept of green consumption. |
