Jutecell fiber is a new type of regenerated fibers processed from the natural jute and kenaf. It has the quality and characteristics of the viscose, the original jute and kenaf at one’s disposal. As a starting point of the subject, the fiber cross-sectional shape, composition and mechanical properties of Jutecell fiber were first tested and analysed systematically, In process of evaluation of the quality of the yarn its hairiness, twist, strength, moisture content, high temperature resistance as well as the properties of anti-acid and anti-alkali are taken for the importent reference parameters. The blended yarn of Jutecell fiber and cotton fiber, with the blended rate of50/50, Yarn fineness of22.6tex, Fiber specification of1.33dtex*38mm, were used in the research of the subject. On the basis of analysis of properties of the used Jutecell fiber, seven knitting fabrics with different weaving structure were designd and weaved on STOLL-CMS530-HP computerized flat knitting machine, the seven products are respectively weft plain stitch,rib1×1stitch,half-milano rib stitch, milano rib stitch, half cardigan rib and cardigan rib, then the basic properties of the fabrics, for example square meter weight, thickness, density and so on, were examinated. The testing results indicate that Jutecell fiber is suitable for developing of knitting fabric which are qualified not only for internal wearing because of its better breathable and moisture absorbing natures but also for external clothing because of its Stiff resistance. While the studying of the subject the methode of alkali-hydrogen peroxide one bath scouring was used for bleaching the knitting fabrics using Jutecell fiber and the Whiteness and the bursting strength were used as test guidelines. After testing and analysing the best Pre-treatment technology for the knitting fabrics using Jutecell fiber was determined, namely the liquor ratio:1:15, the temperature:80℃, the bleaching time:50min, the amount of sodium hydroxide2.5%, the amount of hydrogen peroxide:4%.For dyeing the knitting fabrics using Jutecell fiber the dyeing material of reactive Red KD-8B is chosen. In the dyeing the methode of single bath precess was selected and the Dye uptake rate, K/S value were taken as test guidelines. Through the Orthogonal analysis for the dyeing process the best dyeing technology for the the knitting fabrics using Jutecell fiber was won as following:the liquor ratio:1:20, the temperature:60℃, the dyeing material2%, the dyeing time60min, The amount of sodium chloride30g/L, The amount of leveling agent for the0.4g/L. The optimal fixing technology is the liquor ratio:1:20, the temperature:60℃, the fixiing time60min, The amount of sodium carbonate:The optimal Soaping technology shows itself, the liquor ratio:1:15, the temprature:90℃, the Soaping time:15min, The amount of soap lotion0.5g/L.After dyeing of the knitting fabrics using Jutecell fiber its wearability, for example, Comfortness, fastness, appearance retention were sytematically and particularly examinated and analysed. The testing guidelines include mostly Drapeability, Water permeability, air permeability, Rigid and flexible ability, Pilling und so on.On the basis of the gained test data, the wearability of the knitting fabrics using Jutecell fiber was estimated by using of the methode of the fuzzy integrated evaluation and a very satisfactory result was acquired, namely the knitting fabrics using Jutecell fiber not only maintaine the good characteristics of hemp fiber itself but also overcome the Prickle feeling of hemp fiber. This expandes enormously the application scope of hemp fiber, so that we can say that the knitting fabrics using Jutecell fiber is a worthly generalized new knittting fabrics which has a wide range of applycation prospect.
