The analysis of Land-use change trends and its driving forces is one of the hot issues ofglobal change research, the core of research is how to forecast the tendency of land-use changereasonably and accurately. The dynamic land-use change is very complicated, the traditional GISmethod can solve part of the spatial correlation problem well, but it is hard to simulate complexdynamics in spatial and temporal change of geographical phenomena. Cellular automata (CA) isa kind of "bottom-up" dynamic simulation modeling framework, has an ability to simulatespatial and temporal evolution of complex systems. The characteristics of CA model are moreappropriate in the use of simulation of land use evolution aspects; CA model that integrated withGIS will improve the environment of CA simulation and make the results of the simulationanalysis more accurate.This text makes use of Jinzhou city to make use of a data to carry on present conditionanalysis in2007first, analyzing the characteristics of the land use exploitation in the Jinzhou city;and then made use of the characteristics of variety to carry on to analyze further to the land ofJinzhou city, by using Markov method to predicate the experimental land find out the direction,range of characteristics and variety that the Jinzhou city land use variety, for next step theestablishment of the laid foundation;, provides the reference data and the prediction for thedirection of the CA simulation.
