The Fangzheng county, located in the northwest of Zhangguangcai mountains.Showing a different landscape of the hilly area in the southeastern, the alluvial plain in thenorthwesternt, high plains area in the west. Throughout the county, the terrain sloped fromsouth to west, high mountains and steep in southeastern, low and flat in the northern. Theelevation of low mountain is500-1000in the southeast of county, the ZhangguagncaiPeak elevation of1308m. Hill area in the west, and the height is220-500m, the elevationof100-200m of central and northern are plains area.In recent years, development of the national economy growing in Fangzheng county, gradually increasing the economic activity of human engineering, leaded to geologicalhazards affecting people’s lives and property safety. In order to control and reduce thelosses caused by geological hazards,do the research of the development characteristics ofgeological hazards, identification of the distribution scope of geological hazards, distribution law, the developmental characteristics and causal factors. Then assessment theeconomic losses of the current situation and forecast scientifically. Draw the geologicalhazards-prone areas, hidden spots.Integrated partitioning and evaluation of geological hazards-prone areas, completedthe prevention and response plan of the important geological hazards. Assist the localgovernment to built monitoring system, establish the geological hazards informationsystem and geological hazards warning system, built the control measures scientific andrational to minimize the hazards to life and property of the economic losses caused bygeological hazards, to provide a scientific basis of geological hazards prevention planningfor Fangzheng county. There are36of geological hazards (hidden hazards) points, include11riverbankcollapse,5collapsed,7unstable slopes,11water and soil erosion, and2ground subsidence. They are small geological hazards divided by the hazards level, except the HeiHekouriverbank collapse in TianMenxiang is Medium-sized. Divided by the hazards and hazardslevel,2significant points of TianMenxiang riverbank collapse (point FZ8) and bankcollapse in YiHantongxiang Demoli (point FZ38);3larger class geological hazardspoints, there are fisheries Tuen bank collapse of YiHantong (point FZ35), Fangzheng coalmine ground subsidence (point FZ105), and Hongqi Coal ground subsidence (pointFZ107).The main types of geological hazards is riverbank collapse in survey area.11Riverbank collapse, accounting and5collapse, accounting for for30%and14%of thetotal respectively. The geological hazards stable conditions are poor currently. The directeconomic losses caused by geological hazards5.54million yuan. The most of lossescaused by riverbank collapse which is about510million, and had resulted in240housesdestroyed,ruined635acres and half destroyed20acres of farmland. Half destroyed120houses caused by ground subsidence. The direct economic losses of440,000yuan.Collapse, water and soil erosion and other geological hazards didn’t cause economiclosses yet. Potential threated to232people of riverbank collapse, and nearly255million.Potential threat to140people and nearly200million of ground subsidence.
