As the sea observatory, the big ocean data buoy can collect the material ofmeteorological observatory and ocean environment. It is one of the main means tomonitor the ocean environment and predict the ocean disaster. The observed data hasimportant application in improving the accuracy of forecasting the ocean environmentand promoting the development and utilization of the ocean resources.Generally, the big ocean data buoy system consists of buoy float, a group ofsensors, buoy host and the shore station. The buoy host is the core of the whole buoysystem, which is responsible for the data acquisition, data processing and datatransmission, and its performance directly determines the quality of the data on theocean environment. Therefore, before the buoy host is formally put into use, it needsto do a number of testing work so as to ensure that the function is perfect, theperformance is steady and the data is reliable. The purpose of the research is todevelop a set of test system, which can help to carry out the hardware and softwaredebugging,function test, performance test and kao machine test in the laboratory.The thesis takes the big ocean buoy system developed by OUC(Ocean Universityof China)and SOA(East China Sea Branch of State Oceanic Administration) as theresearch object, adopts the virtual instrument technology and the test idea of sensorsimulation, and then proposes the integrated test system based on LabVIEW. The testsystem can simulate the signal of more than ten kinds of sensors that are able tomonitor marine meteorology, hydrology and chemistry, objectively assess theaccuracy and error of the host system, and simulate a variety of sensor faults andchanges of more than twenty kinds of physical quantity, such as wind direction, windspeed, wave height, flow rate, visibility, air temperature, air pressure and so on. Thetest system can measure the function and performance of the host system fully, sparethe test cost and enhance the test efficiency, which provides the safeguard fordeveloping the high-reliability buoy host system.The test system is consisted of the sensor simulated device and the data analyzer.Sensor simulated device can simulate the operating conditions of most of the sensorson the buoy. According to the workflow of the sensor, the thesis has summarized thebase model of the simulated sensor and realized the unity of the simulated sensor’s design. Besides, in order to enhance the compatibility and expansibility of the testsystem, the method of configuration file has been introduced to manage and maintainall the simulated sensors. The data analyzer is designed to evaluate the buoy host’sprecision and error scientifically. The tester can find out the shortcomings in thedesign of hardware and software, and provide the basis to improve the system’sperformance. At present, the system has been put into operation and played animportant role.Finally, the thesis has made a summary about the study, pointed out the problemsin the research, and then put forward some recommendations for the furtherimprovement.
