From November in2010to October in2011, a systematic investigation and study transect method and fixed-radius point count method Hohhot birds. On the basis of comprehensive investigation, combined with the Shannon-Wiener diversity index, evenness index, dominance index, density formula, the systematic analysis of Hohhot the bird community composition in different habitats, different seasons, the habitat of Bird Communities seasonal dynamics.During the investigation, Hohhot, a total of68bird species6402, belonging to13orders and29families were recorded. Which breeding birds of52species, including26species a residents,26species are summer visitors;16non-breeding birds, including10species migratory birds,6species are winter visitors. The Hohhot autumn season Populated area, community diversity index was0.55and the evenness index was0.19, the dominance index0.37, a density of1.58. The winter season Populated area, community diversity index was0.93and the evenness index was0.29, the dominance index was0.61, a density of8.55. The spring season Populated area, community diversity index was0.43, and evenness index of0.46, the dominance index was0.24, a density of2.41. The summer season Populated area, community diversity index was1.29and the evenness index was0.44, the dominance index of0.47, a density of1.01. The Hohhot autumn season farmland, community diversity index was1.64and the evenness index of0.75, the dominance index of0.22, a density of0.63. The winter Farmland community diversity index was1.41and the evenness index was0.64, the dominance index0.28, density of0.82. The spring Farmland community diversity index was1.17and the evenness index was0.56, the dominance index was0.43, a density of0.76. The summer farmland, community diversity index of1.33, the evenness index was0.61, the dominance index0.32, density of0.21. The Hohhot autumn season, woodland community diversity index was1.89and the evenness index was0.57, the dominance index of0.39, a density of1.32. The winter Woodland community diversity index of1.00, the evenness index was0.32, the dominance index3.56, density of3.80. The winter Woodland community diversity index of1.91, the evenness index was0.62, the dominance index of0.28, a density of1,17. The summer Woodland, community diversity index was1.90and the evenness index was0.61, the dominance index was0.24, a density of1.09. The Hohhot autumn season Grass community diversity index was1.18and the evenness index was0.56, the dominance index0.40, density of0.63. The winter Grass community diversity index was1.22and the evenness index was0.55, the dominance index of0.34, a density of1.85.The spring Grass community diversity index of0.76, the evenness index was0.34, the dominance index of0.66, a density of1.03. The summer Grass community diversity index of1.60, the evenness index was0.77, the dominance index was0.24, a density of0.44. The Hohhot autumn season Wetland community diversity index of2.03, the evenness index was0.71, the dominance index of0.18, a density of1.06. Wetland winter community diversity index of1.35, the evenness index was0.65, the dominance index of0.30, a density of3.36. In spring Wetland community diversity index of1.81, the evenness index was0.82, the dominance index of0.14, a density of0.08. In summer Wetland community diversity index of1.42, evenness index was0.59, the dominance index0.22, density0.42. The Hohhot Landfill autumn community diversity index of1.42, the evenness index was0.64, the dominance index of0.31, a density of2.02. Landfill winter community diversity index of0.88, the evenness index was0.49, the dominance index of0.50, a density of2.9. The landfill spring community diversity index was1.68and the evenness index was0.76, the dominance index of0.23, density of0.45. Landfill Summer community diversity index1.67, the evenness index was0.72, the dominance index was0.24, a density of0.47.The results shows that:(1) the seasonal changes is obvious in the structure of bird. The community of birds in the same season are quite different and also they are changed in different seasons.(2) the same habitat, season bird communities point of view, the most concentrated area in the type and quantity of woodland habitat, autumn, summer, spring, winter birds. In species diversity, evenness, spring> summer> autumn> winter; in the number of individuals, density, and dominance in winter> autumn> spring> summer. The number in the Populated area of Health environment, summer and the lowest density, dominance and diversity; winter species, the highest number, density and dominance, evenness is relatively low. The fall of the type and the lowest evenness. Spring the highest uniformity, diversity is the lowest. Farmland, spring species diversity, evenness is the highest the lowest number, density and dominance. Winter the number of species, the highest density. The fall of the type, diversity and evenness. Summer the number and the lowest density. In the grass, the bird species, number and density of winter> spring> autumn> summer; diversity and evenness, summer> winter> autumn> spring; dominance, spring> autumn> winter> summer. In the wetlands, the number, density, dominance, winter> autumn> summer> spring; species, diversity and evenness autumn> summer> spring> winter. Construction debris field, number density and dominance in winter> autumn> summer> spring; species, summer> autumn> spring> winter; uniformity, spring> summer> autumn> winter.
