Since the20th century,the improvement of science and technology, humanlife quality has improved. Human for natural environment and natural resources,demand is growing. Human unlimited taking. Make the ecological system isoverwhelmed. There the ecological environment of the world. Includingclimate problem resources, etc. Transforming the nature of the human ability,for the destruction of the natural environment is more serious, and the ecologicalenvironment problems to man’s survival threat will be even more urgentincreasingly critical. Especially a large number of emissions of greenhousegases caused by global warming and extreme weather makes human abnormalbegan to realize the gravity of the environmental problems. Reduce greenhousegas emissions, establish a low carbon economy mode, the climate problem isone of the effective measures. And in the social economic activities, relative tocharacter will pay attention to production, and neglect the problem ofconsumption. Consumption, it is people for its needs a kind of behavior.Therefore, to change the traditional consumption concept, establish a new typeof ecological sustainable consumption patterns-low carbon consumption.In this paper, according to the current situation at home and abroad, and tothe marxist ecological consumption theory and the sustainable developmenttheory as a foundation, expounds the concept of low carbon consumption andcharacteristics, this paper discusses low carbon consumption in the mainproblems existing in China, and based on this, puts forward the governmententerprise and market and consumer itself three effective countermeasures ofcoordination.
