Taxonomy Of The Spider Family Araneidae From The Gaoligong Mountains

The present dissertation deals with the taxonomy of orb weaving spider family Araneidae (Arachnida:Araneae) from the Gaoligong Mountains. Four parts are included:PartⅠdeals with the introduction to the Family Araneidae, and its morphology and taxonomy. The introduction to the Gaoligong Mountains is also included.PartⅡis a detailed study of 118 species belonging to 21 genera. Collection information of all species and detailed description and measurements, compare of relative species of 67 species are present. Etymology of all the new species included also.PartⅢincludes conclusions and discussions. Koch, 1875), Neoscona polyspinipes Yin et al.,1990= Neoscona vigilans (Blackwall,1865) are reported. Taxonomy of some genera and species were discussed.Part IV contains 67 plates of the color photos and detailed inked morphological figures of the new genus, new recorded genus, new species, new recorded species, single sex supplements species and some resemble known species.
