Taxonomic Study On The Spiders Of The Family Lycosidae (Arachnida: Araneae) From The Gaoligong Mountains

The present dissertation deals with the taxonomic study of the spiders of the family Lycosidae (Arachnida:Araneae) from Yunnan Province, China. Three parts are included:Part I deals with the introduction to the family, and its morphology and taxonomy. Part II is a detailed study on 62 species belonging to 10 genera, including 22 new to science,1 new to China and 2 single sex supplements. Descriptions, illustrations and specimens examined are given to each species. Species, which are closely related to and easily confused with each other, are discussed.
