Gaungzhou Wenchong shipyard was built in 1955, she is one of the most importantshipyards that belong to China State Shipbuilding Corporation. GWS has an experience ofmore than 20 years in shipbuilding, and also has the ability of building ships up to60000DWT,GWS is the construction base of feeder container vessel with capacity up to3500TEU and larger& middle size dredger. After the economic crisis of 2008, the worldmarket start to break up and the market quotation of shipbuilding fell rapidly. Most of theshipyards have to face the situation like difficult to deliver new building, difficult to sign newcontract, difficult to payoff. Technical Center also met many kinds of difficulties. There aremore than 250 designers in Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard Technical Center. At this kind ofsituation Technical Center has to envisage the difficulties such as keen competition from othershipyards, the limitation of company's management, HR management, etc.As the effect of market, the competition in shipbuilding is still very serious. Theenvironment of shipbuilding industry will not change essentially in short time. Themanagement resource will keep tensional at this situation. Technical Center need toimplement Management Benefit through Organization structure redesigned to settle theproblem as follows: to optimize the design organization, to dispatch the human resource, tobuild effective prompting institution, to increase efficiency, to increase the diathesis ofmanagement and designer, to stabilize the designer team, etc.We will research relative documents deeply, and will analyze the Technical Center'shuman resource management to find out pivotal problem. We will research it through thefollowing method: 1) Settle the current proposal, refer to the factors which affect knowledgestaff to self-management team. 2) Through qualitative organizational diagnosis make clear themanagement defects of design department completely. 3) Come up with the solution and pathof architecture self-management team.
