| In the recent three decades, industrial cluster is the propeller of rapid economicaldevelopment in Zhejiang."Zhejiang Mode"which takes industrial clusters as animportant characteristic has achieved great success. But, both the competitiveness anddeveloping mode of Zhejiang industrial clusters which are still in"initial stage ofdevelopment"have already restricted the sustainable development of clusters'economic seriously. The upgrade of clusters has attracted more and more attentions.This paper based on numerous in-depth investigations of clusters makes research oncompetitiveness and improving paths of Zhejiang industrial clusters. It has certaintheoretical and practical value.Firstly, this paper constructs an evaluating system of Zhejiang industrial clusters'competitiveness from three levels including industrial scale, industrial efficiency andindustrial growth, and used this system evaluates the clusters'competitiveness of 14typical Zhejiang industries in 2009. It analyzes quantitatively on the competitivesituation, characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of the major industrial clustersin Zhejiang. Secondly, according to the current situation, it explores the feasible pathsof improving Zhejiang industrial clusters'competitiveness from internal cluster andexternal cluster two paths and five aspects. Thirdly, it takes"Chinese Capital ofWooden Door"Zhejiang Jiangshan as an example to further discuss the currentsituation and improving paths of Zhejiang industrial clusters'competitiveness.The main features and innovations of this paper are as follows. One is combined normative research and empirical analysis. It builds an evaluating system based onAHP, determines the weight values and uses it to analyze. The other is combinedqualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. It chooses Zhejiang Jiangshan's woodendoor cluster which is a emerging cluster in my hometown as an example to study thecurrent situation and improving paths of competitiveness. |
