Study On Quality Management Of New Development Project In PVM Company

With the progress of the financial crisis spread, the reduction of domestic consumer pull, a high degree of homogeneity of products, raw materials costs and marketing costs rising and other factors under the influence of increasingly fierce competition between candy manufacturers, new product development play a decisive role in promoting the development of the companies. Meanwhile, the melamine incident in 2008 drove increasing of consumer awareness of quality, thorough supervision from government and more transparent monitoring from media. Food quality and safety has become core competitiveness of a candy manufacturer. Companies must pay full attention and resolve quality management issues in new product development project. Five-element model has a positive effect to sort quality management issues in project and improve quality management of new product development projects.Thesis focuses on study of project quality management of new products development in PVM, an Italian-owned confectionary company. The paper investigate the improvement of the quality management on NPD projects in PVM based on the theory of quality management and a five-element modal for managing quality on projects. To analyze and track the improvement by use of histograms, SPC control charts and other common tools on quality controlling to prove that effective improvement of quality management in NPD project.In this study, establish continuous improvement actions for quality management on new product development project in PVM. To continuously focus on product quality, to update NPD project management procedure, ensure quality of process management, quality assurance to continuously improve quality management of NPD project, to collect accurate quality information through scientific quality controlling method, such as 7 tools and SPC, before fix the corrective actions, to arouse NPD persons'consciousness.
