In China, most machinery manufacturing enterprises still belong to labor-intensive industry. Labor resources are still the main factors for their business operation. However, since the global economic began to recover in 2010, the machinery manufacturing enterprise was booming. Many factories expanded their production, more labors was needed. The labor marked fell into short supply.SJ is a machinery company which produce construction wheels and commercial truck wheels for OEM. The production is characterized with small quantity and more varieties. Since there are many product specifications, it requires the producers to act rapidly and try to reduce waste. Due to labor shortage and serious labor losses, the company have to find some effective measures to solve the present HR problems.The study surveys the frontline employees with two kinds of questionnaire: questionnaire for employees'needs and questionnaire for job satisfaction. These questionnaires are analyzed by the software SPSS. The analysis focus on two variables: demographic and work. From the data, we summarize the different needs and satisfaction. Based on the analysis results, the thesis combined with SJ current HR status, put forward four optimized HR measures:implement human-oriented management, strengthen the enforcement of company regulations, carry out fair and reasonable remuneration policy, improve employees'incentive.
