Organizational politics is a popular research topic of organization behavior and human resources management field in western countries nowadays. Taking organizational politics as individual psychological state is a dominant academic view, so perception of organizational politics (POP) is an important research orientation. Through a lot of previous studies,it was found that personal factors is a predominant influence in the causation of POP,but most of them focus on relationship between POP and demographic characteristics——Gender,age,education background,marital status,employment level and so on. Less attention was paid to the influence of mental characteristics. This paper will consider both personality and demographic characteristics effect on POP,from both intrinsic and extrinsic way. And on the basis of Enneagram theory, it will focus on the POP differences among different mental characteristics.This research adopts the investigation method and use questionnaire to help to find out the relationship between POP and personal characteristics.Some pepole working in enterprises which are located in Beijing and Hebei Province are respondents. The conclusions are drawn as follows:1.Demographic characteristics such as Gender,age,education background,marital status,and employment level have no significant effects on POP. There are remarkable differences in POP among employee with different work seniority.2.The Influence of personality on POP is much stronger in comparison to demographic characteristics. No.1(Perfectionist),No.5(Thinker),No.9 (Peacemaker)personality have significant negative effects on POP;No.2(Helper),No.3(Achiever),No.6(Questioner),No.8(Leader)personality could predict the POP positively. At the end of the paper,some management suggestions are given .
