XC Holiday Travel Company which is one of subsidiaries of Sichuan China Youth Travel Service, independent self financing mainly provides travel service to tourists in Chengdu; and tourists from other cities travel to Chengdu and Tibet. With the increasing affluence of life in recent years, the regulation of the structure of the travel industry, great changes have taken place in the external environment of the company. Now, on the one hand, some travel companies still compete against one another by old way, poor quality and low price secretly; on the other hand, newcomers rush into this market, including new travel service company, even more, some clubs support travel service illegally. Fortunately, the steps for Travel Company to regulate their main business from vicious competition are being quickened, which has become the trend of the time. Once the regulation is completed, the competition in the travel service market will be on good way, but no one knows what it truly is in such environment.XC Holiday Travel Company once only focused on their main business, such as organizing tourist group, booking rooms and tickets, but the company had no clear development direction in the keen market competition because it was short of correct strategic guide. The company has been tired of aimless work. The change of the market and the past experience and lessons require that the company establish a development strategy in agreement with the market requirements and the conditions of the company itself.Based on a vast amount of data, this thesis analyzes the external environment faced by XC Holiday Travel Service from political, economic, technical, social and cultural aspects; analyzes the actual competitors in the industry and the potential newcomers. considers the five basic aspects of the competition of the suppliers and purchasers such as bargaining ability, substitutions, competitors and potential competitors; uses full and accurate internal data of the industry and internal data of the company to analyze and compare its conditions of resources and capacity, thus fully understanding the opportunities, challenges, advantages and disadvantages faced by the company. On this basis, the SWOT strategic selection model is used to establish the development strategy of XC Holiday Travel Company. According to the theory of choosing the competition strategy in different industrial environments and in combination with the life cycle of the industry which XC Holiday Travel Company belongs to and its specific actual conditions of resources, advantages and disadvantages the thesis establishes the competition strategy of XC Holiday Travel Company.In the end, this thesis expounds the system reformation, human resources development, quality, finance, service management, marketing and other tasks and goals of the company respectively from the six aspects of deepening reform and changing system to create a system basis for company development; strengthening the development of human resources and tightening up the internal management to provide organizational assurance for the sustainable development of the company; further improving the quality of service and reducing production costs to sharpen the company's ability to make profits; restructuring the business flow in combination with the movement and rebuilding of the company to reestablish the organization of the company; changing concepts and opening up markets to raise the market occupancy, thus ensuring the smooth realization of the development strategy of XC Holiday Travel Company.
