Research Of Project Management Of HC Hydropower Investigation And Design Compony

Recently, with China's entry into the WTO and the globalization of economy, trade and market, the current management mode of China's hydropower investigation and design enterprises is no longer adapted to the development of the situation. The disparity between China's hydropower investigation and design enterprises and developed countries' engineering design companies is growing. In order to obtain stronger enterprise competitiveness and efficiently implement and complete projects, the investigation and design enterprise served as a technology-concentrated enterprise in engineering projects is badly in need of promoting project management level and improving project management technology.Starting with the concept and features of investigation and design enterprises and the basic theories and knowledge system of project management, expounding the essential points and the necessity to implement project management in investigation and design enterprises, which lays a theoretic foundation for the application and research of this thesis. Then, this thesis briefly introduces basic conditions of HC Company. It is a typically knowledge-intensive hydropower engineering investigation and design enterprise. The company is in strategic transition from domestic hydroelectric engineering technology consultation to international project general contract. In this condition, HC Company is inevitably facing fierce competition and challenges from domestic and foreign enterprises. The thesis analyzes and studies deeply characteristics and management situation of HC Company. Secondly, the author expounds the issues on the mode of matrix management of HC Company and proposes a dual schedule control method for the plan and schedule of the designing projects. Thirdly, characteristics of project human resource management of HC Company are expounded in the thesis. Besides, the existing problems in human resource of HC Company are analyzed, i.e. inadequate cognition of project human resource management, irrational organizational structure, improper human resource allocation, lack of the effective perform measurement system and effective encouragement mechanism and so on. To solve the above problems, the performance management under the mode of matrix management is researched and some constructive suggestions are proposed, for example, to build a matrix-organizational structure, to reasonably allocate the human resource, to strengthen the train of-project team, to build an effective perform measurement system.Finally, according to these problems in project risk management of HC Company, i.e. the thesis analyzes the reasons that cause risk problems, and puts forward methods for risk management.As a result, for the consideration of the author's limited academic level, and the limitation of field of eyes, and many other reasons, the suggestion and proposed plan in this article should make the further confirmation and improvement by the practice, therefore mistakes and oversights is unavoidable, requests earnestly tutors and other readers to point out and give some suggestions.
