HOS(Honeywell Operation System) is a strong integrated operation system based on six Sigma, which mainly focus on the organization structure, leadership, strategy development, company culture, change management, employee participation and continuous improvement, to drive continuous improvement on safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory. As an advanced management system, in last several years implemented inside whole Honeywell widely. By eliminating all the non-value added process and waste, continuously reduce cost, improve quality, and enhance the production flexibility, to ensure the company is in the advantage position of market. Pursuing similar Lean Six Sigma has become to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises preferred in China now.A company build factory in China in 1999, mainly produce data terminal collection products, was acquired by Honeywell in 2008. In last two years, implemented HOS and lean production management and got M&A integration in meantime. Made improvements on safety, quality, delivery, product design, manufacturing, sales and inventory etc, in order to minimize waste, enhance product quality, meet customer demand, and improve the profitability of the enterprise and competition ability.The article introduced the research background and the significance first, introduced the lean and Six Sigma's development, the concept and principles, the application both in China and outside and the research situation. And the article also introduced some detailed HOS system implementation contents, such as corresponding maturity assessment procedure, Honeywell training system, standardization management, continuous improvement and full participation of company culture. Described the HOS deployment and achievements in A company in last two years. Detailed analyze the inventory problems and waste in A company, and provide the solution method and proposal. The practice and achievement in A company provides reference to other companies plan to implement Lean Six Sigma system, and proves that the implementation of lean production can indeed improve quality, eliminate waste, reduce costs, and improve enterprise management level, the comprehensive and competitive capability.
